Spain national team head coach Fernando Hierro can in the nearest time leave his office. According to AS, the Spanish football federation (RFEF) are not counting on Hierro and has already begun to look for his successor.
The newspaper informs, RFEF would like to rely on former helmsman of Real Madrid, Atletico and Espanyol Quique Sanchez Flores. He is the main candidate for this post.
The other candidate is Barcelona ex-head coach Luis Enrique. Both trainers are right now out of job. Besides, it’s spoken about such specialists as Michel, Pako Jemez and Quique Setien.
Hierro took over at the national team one day before the World Cup start replacing sacked Julen Lopetegui. Under his guidance La Roja lost to Russia in the 1/8 finals of the mundial.
