Real Madrid renewed the interest towards Inter striker Mauro Icardi, according to Marca.

As the club’s president Florentino Perez has previously stressed, they try to strengthen the squad of Julen Lopetegui with stars.

And Icardi is surely one of them. The latter is considered to be as a possible replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo who moved to Juventus.

The Argentinean player has already negotiated with the Spanish giant during last winter transfer window. But Perez has never been prone to making big investments in winter. The Milanese club then demanded € 100 mil but Los Blancos refused to pay such quantity.

In the last two seasons in Serie A Icardi scored 24 and 29 goals respectively.

Right now the transfer price of Icardi is € 110 mil. He didn’t extend his contract with nerazurri although they offered him very attractive  terms from the financial viewpoint.
